Community Outreach

The Conservatory of Dance & Theatre believes in giving back to the community.

We offer scholarships to students who have an interest in ballet but are not able to take classes because of economic reasons. Students who are given this opportunity must show talent and a love of ballet and be committed to attend classes regularly.

We donate a portion of our profits from The Nutcracker to the Y's men of Galax who distribute food to the needy at Christmas time.

We  work with The Arts Council of The Twin Counties to provide programs that are free of charge and open to the public. Sometimes we have to underwrite the program and then a nominal charge will be added.
